Christopher Columbus Fellowship Foundation: Christopher Columbus AwardsChristopher Columbus Fellowship FoundationThe Christopher Columbus Awards is a national, community-based science and technology program for middle school students. The program challenges the students to work in teams of three to four, with an adult coach, to identify a problem in their community and apply the scientific method to create an innovative solution to that problem.
Girls Leadership ScholarshipsGirls Going Places/Guardian Life Guardian awards prizes to 15 girls who demonstrate budding entrepreneurship; are taking the first steps toward financial independence; and make a difference in their schools and communities.
Low-Income Minority ScholarshipsThe Gates Millennium Scholars/Gates Foundation Gates Millennium Scholars Program awards low-income students of color with scholarships to pursue college degrees.

Micron Science and Technology Scholars ProgramMicronThis program recognizes excellence in academics and leadership among high school seniors in the state of Idaho, Utah, and Virginia.
National Achievement Scholarship Program/National Merit Scholarships Corporationk12 AcademicsNMSC awards National Merit Scholarships based on a competition that includes taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
Presidential Awards for Math, Science, and Engineering MentoringNational Science FoundationThe PAESMEM Program seeks to identify outstanding mentoring efforts that enhance the participation of groups (i.e., women, minorities, and persons with disabilities) that are underrepresented in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
STEM Scholars ProgramUniversity of Wisconsin-PlattevilleThis program annually awards around 10 renewable scholarships to incoming freshmen or transfer students of approximately $3,800, increasing the group to 40 students in years four and five. Eligible students must select a major offered in the College of Engineering, Mathematics and Science, demonstrate academic excellence and show financial need.
